Are all farmers concerned about their water usage? What measures have they put in place?

Question

Are all farmers concerned about their water usage? What measures have they put in place?

Answer

Water is a very valuable commodity in farming systems. So any farmer that is not concerned about water usage will probably not be farming in the future.

There are many new systems that are coming into play to use water more efficiently in different areas, including better forms of irrigation, different methods of storing moisture in the ground etc. I live in an area where irrigation is not used due to high rainfall, however I still am looking at ways to utilise water more efficiently through new varieties of pasture and fodder crop systems.
